Glowfari
Glowfari returns to Oakland Zoo for its seventh season with hundreds of new animal lanterns. The illuminated displays explore California forests, San Francisco Bay, Montana, the Florida Everglades and Hawaii, showing the wildlife and habitats of each region.
The outdoor, family-friendly experience runs from November 6, 2026, through January 31, 2027, on selected dates. Advance reservations are required; consult the zoo’s calendar for closures and availability. The zoo’s live animals remain indoors during Glowfari.
