Holiday Tree Lighting at Jack London Square
Jack London Square celebrates the holiday season with its annual tree lighting on November 28, 2026. The gathering takes place in the plaza by Scott’s Seafood on Oakland’s waterfront.
The celebration features holiday laser light shows, faux snowfall and appearances by Santa, Frosty, a Christmas Teddy Bear and the Peppermint Princess. Oaktown Jazz Workshops and the Lyric Performing Arts Academy will perform. Admission is free, and advance registration is not required. The tree lighting accompanies the Joy to the Town! Holiday Market.
