Dracula
TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents Steven Dietz’s stage version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, directed by Giovanna Sardelli, at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. The production turns the familiar vampire story into a suspenseful encounter between rational thinking, supernatural fear and dangerous desire.
This adaptation emphasizes shifting power and the uncertainty surrounding its characters. The run continues through November 1, making it a theatrical option for Halloween weekend.
Content advisory: The production uses smoke and fog, loud sounds and flashing or intense lighting. It also depicts death and substantial amounts of stage blood.
