Patti Smith has been a brilliant and pioneering force in music, poetry, and art since the 1970s. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and winner of the National Book Award, Smith returns to our stage for an evening of Songs & Stories, and to share her new memoir, Bread of Angels. The book traces the entirety of her life, exploring her ever-changing relationship with art, her marriage to the songwriter Fred ‘Sonic’ Smith, her grief after his passing, and her dedication to artistic freedom and imagination. This is Smith’s most intimate memoir, delving into losses and loves with a raw, unflinching honesty.
