Season’s Greetings Singalong with Zoe Ellis and Janice Maxie Reid
Zoë Ellis and Janice Maxie Reid lead the return of the Freight’s Season’s Greetings Singalong, a community celebration built around shared voices and holiday cheer. Interfaith and nondenominational carols mix with comedy and personal stories, creating a program that welcomes many traditions without requiring anyone to arrive as a trained singer.
Guests of all ages can sing from their seats, join the artists onstage and respond to the music as the gathering unfolds. Ellis and Reid bring deep experience across gospel, soul, jazz, R&B and community music-making, guiding the room with warmth and spontaneity. Singers, dancers and enthusiastic listeners are all invited; the point is not perfection, but the joy of making something together.
