vernacular is a new work by seymour:dancecollective that investigates linguistic relativity: the idea that the languages and cultures people know can affect how they think.
Through written, verbal and physical experiments, the collective searches for a shared dialogue among the performers, the audience and their wider social and political contexts. The State of Play presentation includes ASL interpretation.
