The Lend A Hand Foundation (LAHF) has been in existence since April 1997; received its 501c3 in August of 1998. Celebrating 20 years of Service in 2017 LAHF represents the commitment of its founders  and the Board of Directors to improve the life of children, youth and families. LAHF has served the community for 20 years. Even though charitable giving is sometimes considerably low, LAHF continues to strive to make sure it reaches as many children, youth, and families as possible by lending a hand. The Foundation has provided over 75,000 backpacks and supplies through its Annual Back to School Giveaway Program (August). Through our  Annual Holiday Celebration in December, Stay In School Program, and other services, we touch the lives of over 6,000 youth and families on a yearly basis.
