The 2026 Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame Enshrinement Dinner took place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero in San Francisco, celebrating some of the region’s greatest sports legends while benefiting Special Olympics Northern California. Presented by the Eddie and Candy DeBartolo Family Foundation and Casa Piena Wines, the evening honored the outstanding Class of 2026 — Jack Clark, Brandon Crawford, Missy Franklin, Eddie Hart, and Jesse Sapolu — with a memorable night that featured a reception, dinner, inductee videos, presenter tributes, plaque unveilings, and a fireside chat led by KNBR’s Brian Murphy.

​People will talk about the Bay Area Sports Royalty in the room that night, the quality, diversity and accomplishments of the inductees, the star power of the presenters including Olympians, Summer Sanders and Bob Beamon and Mayor Lurie’s comments about the importance of the legacy of Bay Area Sports and the future.
