PHOTOS: Toast & Taste Raises Record $64,000 for Compass Family Services

On Tuesday, August 18, 400 guests gathered at Chotto Matte in San Francisco for Toast & Taste, a lively evening of food, drinks, games, and celebration hosted by San Francisco Private Dining Venues in support of Compass Family Services. This year’s event was the most successful yet, raising more than $64,000 to help families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Guests sampled dishes from some of the city’s top restaurants, alongside specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings. They also bid on dozens of silent auction packages, including signed Warriors jerseys, Bay Area night outs, and an array of local dining experiences. Bite highlights included roasted octopus with piquillo pepper puree from Perbacco, Waygu fillet from Roka Akor, and porkbelly handrolls from Ozumo.

TV and radio personality Liam Mayclem emceed the festivities while guests mingled and tried their luck at games like Tipsy Toss, Plinko, Spin the Wheel, and Lucky Dice Roll, and raised their bids in the silent auction. With incredible food and drinks, plenty of fun, and a record-breaking $64,000+ raised for Compass families, this year’s Toast & Taste set a new high-water mark for an event that continues to bring the community together in support of families facing homelessness.
