On Wednesday May 13, San Francisco Opera Guild, in collaboration with Neiman Marcus, brought fashion and philanthropy together in spectacular style at The Art of Fashion Runway Show and Luncheon at Neiman Marcus San Francisco. Co-chaired by Teresa Medearis and Pam Preston, the event welcomed guests for a celebration of luxury fashion while raising critical funds to support San Francisco Opera Guild’s award-winning music education programs. Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception in a beautifully designed space by acclaimed event stylist J. Riccardo Benavides, setting the tone for an elegant afternoon. Chloe King, Director of Fashion & Lifestyle at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, delivered an engaging presentation on emerging fashion trends, followed by an exclusive runway show featuring standout collections from the world’s leading designers.

Guests were also treated to a refined luncheon and a special performance by the Guild’s Opera Scouts, showcasing the talent nurtured by the very programs the event supports. Guests then enjoyed a spirited live auction and Fund-a-Need, raising vital funds to ensure the continued reach of the Guild’s education initiatives. With more than 60,000 students benefiting annually from the Guild’s programs, this successful event helped ensure continued access to music education across Northern California. San Francisco Opera Guild was thrilled to come together with Neiman Marcus to bring this spectacular event to the San Francisco community and extends heartfelt thanks to co-chairs Teresa Medearis and Pam Preston, as well as to all who attended and supported this significant fundraiser.

Guests at the Benefactor and Grand Benefactor levels were also treated to an intimate cocktail reception with Chloe King on May 12 at Villa Taverna, the evening before the Fashion Show, offering a special opportunity to gather in celebration ahead of the main event.
