Keyboardist Chester “CT” Thompson leads a groove-rich organ quartet drawing on jazz, soul and funk. After 26 years with Santana and a decade with Tower of Power, Thompson brings a deep command of rhythm, harmony and Hammond organ tradition to this intimate coastal setting.
Thompson’s left-hand and pedal-bass work anchors a band featuring saxophonist Howard Wiley, guitarist Barry Finnerty and drummer Dante Roberson. Together they deliver a muscular, soulful sound shaped by decades of Bay Area music history.
