Pacific Coast Fog Fest
Pacifica’s signature coastal celebration returns for its 39th year with two days of community festivities along Palmetto Avenue, just a block from the Pacific Ocean. Fog Fest opens with a hometown parade and float competition, then fills the street with arts-and-crafts booths, food and beverage vendors, family activities, contests and live entertainment. Makers offer jewelry, pottery, painting, photography, textiles, leatherwork, woodwork and other original pieces, while multiple stages feature music across a range of styles. Admission is free.
Created in 1986 to celebrate Pacifica and promote the city, the festival also serves as a community fundraiser. More than 35 participating local groups now share in event proceeds, and the Fog Fest Organizing Group reports that over $1.25 million has been returned to the community. The result is a coastal street fair that combines shopping, music, food and local impact.
