Legally Blonde The Musical
Berkeley Playhouse presents Legally Blonde The Musical, the upbeat Broadway comedy about Elle Woods, a determined sorority president who follows her former boyfriend to Harvard Law School and discovers that she is far more capable than anyone expected. As Elle tackles new challenges, confronts stereotypes and builds unexpected friendships, she learns to trust her own intelligence and define success on her own terms.
Based on Amanda Brown’s novel and the MGM film, the musical features a book by Heather Hach and music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. The Berkeley Playhouse production is directed by No’eau Kahalekulu, with music direction by Camden Daly and choreography by Cat Delos Santos Reyes.
Accessibility performances include an audio-described and haptic-access performance on September 13 and an ASL-interpreted performance on September 20.
